US Agricultural Impact Each Year

WE'RE TERRA VERA

Terra Vera means "Beautiful Earth"

We’re an agtech company on a mission to reimagine the way we grow, feed, and nourish the world.

Our technology is helping cultivators grow better crops safely without the ecological downsides of traditional nutrients and agrochemicals.

OUR STORY

Preserving the planet one plant at a time

Our founders worked closely together years ago to develop a better way to treat water. Standard approaches were expensive, toxic, and difficult to work with. Using the same core technology that has been researched and developed over the past 20 years, they founded Terra Vera to change how we grow plants today for a better tomorrow.

OUR COMMITMENT

Investing in a better tomorrow

Invest in Our Community

Giving back and staying connected to the people and businesses around us is paramount. We encourage paid-time off for community service and carefully select local vendors that align with our mission.

Invest in Our People

We believe in continuous improvement and encourage our team to invest in their future. Whether it's pursuing certification for their job or taking time off for a newborn, prioritizing team wellness leads to better outcomes.

Invest in Our Planet

Our planet is changing and what we do today will impact generations to come. Our technology and our operations are rooted in our mission to preserve and protect the Earth.

OUR VISION

Technology for creating a safer, healthier, and more sustainable future

Plants provide food, prevent erosion, and help clean the air. Non-toxic, all-natural solutions help protect against abiotic and pathogenic stress for more robust plants and greater yields.

Surrounding ecosystems are directly impacted by farming practices. Using sustainable crop management ensures that waste and unintended runoff won’t impact other plants and animals.

People demand more from their crops and where they came from. The world deserves to have access to high-quality crops. Our mission today will impact generations to come.

OUR GOALS

Growing our business for good

The United Nations created sustainable development goals (SDG) to establish a better and sustainable future for all. We're proud to work towards greater goals.

SDG Goal 1: No Poverty

We are investing in the New Mexico community. Ranked as the third poorest state in the nation, close to one-fifth of the population lives in poverty. We're committed to providing more jobs and living wages to New Mexicans.

SDG Goal 2: Zero Hunger

According to the USDA, more than 38 million people, including 12 million children, in the United States are food insecure. With our technology we strive to help farmers increase yields and prevent crop loss from pests and diseases so that every family has access to high quality food.

SDG Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being

We offer competitive medical, dental and life insurance plans to all employees their families, as well as retirement plans with a company match. Every hire becomes an owner in the company, and we're proud to build our business with each new team member.

SDG Goal 5: Gender Inequality

Terra Vera is proud of having women on its leadership team and board of directors. Equal opportunities is critical to the success of any organization.

SDG Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation

Our technology is non-toxic. Any excess solution can be safely poured down a drain. The solutions by design transform back into inert ingredients, ensuring that surrounding ecosystems and waterways stay safe.

SDG Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy

Utilizing a standard 110V plug, our systems consume as much energy as a standard appliance. This means no special energy upgrades and low utility requirements.

SDG Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth

Headquartered in a state with the highest unemployment rate, we plan to expand our team and ensure 100% living wages to more local talent.

SDG Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure

In collaboration with students at the University of West Indies, Terra Vera has supported the research of its technology on local crops, like coffee. We are innovating to fight new diseases that are resistant to traditional treatments.

SDG Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production

Our systems by design allow growers to access agricultural solutions onsite and on demand. We give growers the ability to generate what they need and when they need it so that there's less waste and more productivity.

SDG Goal 13: Climate Action

Climate change affects all of us. By activating our agricultural solutions onsite, greenhouse gas emissions related to shipping are greatly reduced. Approximately 625 CO2e are offset with each unit of our amino acid blends.

SDG Goal 14: Life Below Water

Our amino acid technology is designed to have better uptake and bioavailability to decrease waste. Once dried, our solutions also transform back into inert ingredients so that lakes, streams, and oceans aren't negatively impacted.

SDG Goal 15: Life on Land

The honeybee population is severely threatened by pest pressure. Our technology safely controls mites so that bees can continue pollinating our most important food crops.

BUILD A BETTER FUTURE WITH US

Terra Vera aims to create safe, effective, and sustainable solutions in agriculture technology. We are driven by scientific innovation and are passionate about preserving our environment and the quality of our crops. Let's leave the world better than we found it.
