At Terra Vera, innovation doesn’t stop in the lab—it lives in the field, guided by the experience and insights of real-world beekeepers. That’s why we hosted a hands-on Demo Day in Shafter, California, bringing together commercial beekeepers from across Southern California to see our ApiVera system in action.

What We Demonstrated

Attendees saw firsthand how ApiVera integrates seamlessly into day-to-day operations:

  • Fogger Technology: We demonstrated our redesigned fogging unit with simplified controls, faster treatment times, and enhanced durability—tailored to meet the needs of high-volume operators.
  • Treatment Efficacy: Using field-ready hives, we showcased how our amino acid-based solution helps suppress both Varroa mites and pathogens, without harming bees or contaminating wax and honey.

What We Heard

More than just a product demo, this was a conversation. Beekeepers asked tough questions, shared field data, and provided critical input on how our system could be even better. From recommendations on nozzle placement to ideas for streamlining multiple treatments per pallet, the feedback was clear: this is a solution built by beekeepers, for beekeepers.

“We’ve been looking for something that could actually scale without hurting the bees or the bottom line,” said one attendee.

What’s Next?

We’re expanding our pilot program and continuing to optimize application protocols based on what we’ve learned. If you’d like to host a trial, get involved in our next field day, or order ApiVera for your operation, get in touch with our team.

Thank You to Our Beekeeping Community

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who made the trip, asked the hard questions, and helped us push this technology forward. Whether you're running 500 hives or 50,000, your input helps ensure we’re building the most effective, field-ready tools in the industry.

Let’s keep working together to build stronger, healthier colonies—one hive at a time.
