Agriculture Solutions Inspired by Nature

WE'RE SHAPING THE FUTURE OF SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE

The World's Population is Expected to Hit 10 Billion by 2050

The demand for food and critical crops is growing rapidly while arable land continues to decline. We need efficient, large-scale farming that demands less of the Earth.

Terra Vera is a first of its kind agriculture technology company using an amino acid platform to safely prevent crop loss and improve crop quality.

PRODUCTS POWERED BY AMINO ACIDS

Harnessing nature's biological processes

Using biomimicry technology, our systems simulate nature's cellular response to stress by creating activated amino acid solutions. We offer a range of crop protection and nutrient products to protect and enhance the value of your crops.

INCREASE PRODUCTIVITY

Generate IPM solutions on demand

While many solutions come with steep learning curves and high upfront costs, Terra Vera has no special requirements and benefits can be seen immediately with the first application. Growers who use Terra Vera can expect a return on their investment in just one harvest cycle.

TO SOLVE SOME OF THE TOUGHEST CHALLENGES FACING MODERN AGRICULTURE

Among the estimated two million agricultural workers in the United States, physicians diagnose 10,000 to 20,000 pesticide poisonings each year, with an average cost of $44,000 per medically consulted injury in 2020.

Toxic Chemicals

Up to 40% of global crop production is lost to plant pests and diseases. Each year, plant diseases cost the global economy more than $220 billion, and invasive insects cost at least $70 billion.

Crop Loss

By 2050 we will need to produce 60 percent more food to feed a world population of 9.3 billion. With a farming-as-usual approach, it would take too heavy a toll on our natural resources.

Increasing Demand, Scarce Resources

An estimated $10 billion in environmental and societal damages occur each year in the United States due to the application of pesticides, including crop pollination problems and honeybee losses, wildlife loss, and public health impacts.

WHEN PASSION MEETS PURPOSE

Innovating for the Future

We are a rapidly growing and transformative agtech company developing proprietary amino acid-based solutions for crops worldwide.

Terra Vera was founded in 2020 to rid the world of toxic chemicals that are damaging our environment and contributing to a public health crisis. Simply put, we know that there must be a better way to treat our crops, our planet, and our bodies.

GROWING FOR GOOD

Produce More. Waste Less.

To protect our food supply, we often rely on toxic products that are harmful to the environment and our health. A large percentage of nitrogen and phosphates in traditional agricultural products are not consumed by plants. In fact, 15-20% of foliar nutrients are actually taken in. Nutrient and pesticide run-off can cause algae growth and oxygen depletion in nearby lakes and streams.

SO WE CAN LIVE BETTER

Healthier Crops. Healthier People.

Terra Vera's products by design have increased bioavailability to maximize uptake and minimize waste, and can be applied both to roots and leaves. This means healthier plants, yields, profits, and surrounding ecosystems.

The United Nations adopted 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2015 to be reached by 2030. We support these initiatives to tackle climate change and food shortages through growing for good.
